Visiting Prof. KAZUHIKO MORI, MD., PhD.: Glaucoma specialist, currently working at Baptist Eye Institute, Nagaoka-kyo division, and Department of Ophthalmology, Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, Kyoto, Japan. 

Graduated KPUM in 1988; Resident in KPUM, 1988-89; postdoctoral course in KPUM, 1989-1993; visiting associate at National Eye Institute, NIH, Bethesda, MD, USA, 1991-93; clinical staff in Fukui Medical School, Fukui, Japan, 1993-1995; clinical staff in KPUM, 1995-1999; assistant professor in KPUM, 1999-2003; associate professor in KPUM, 2003-2021; chief executive advisor in Oike-Ikeda Eye Clinic, 2021-2022; clinical associate professor in KPUM, 2021; director in Baptist Eye Institute, Nagaoka-kyo division, 2022-; visiting professor in KPUM, 2021-. 

Recipients of Suda Memorial Fund for Glaucoma Research, 2008; Achievement Award, 2016; International Scholar Award, 2013 at American Academy of Ophthalmology. Also known as an inventor of Mori upright surgical gonio lens (Ocular Instruments, Inc., Bellevue, WA, USA). Special interests in glaucoma surgery, genetics, and trabecular outflow facilities.
