Dilruwani Aryasingha

Dr. Dilruwani Aryasingha (MBBS,MD,FRCS) is a consultant ophthalmologist at Golden Key Eye Hospital, Colombo. 

She graduated from Colombo University with 5 distinctions and 4 gold medals. She obtained MD in ophthalmology in 2003 and was awarded Dr. P.Wirasinha gold medal for best performance. She was trained at Gartneval University hospital, United Kingdom and obtained FRCS in 2005 and did a glaucoma fellowship at Southend University hospital, United Kingdom. 

She was the secretary of the College of Ophthalmologists of Sri Lanka (COSL) in 2011, 2014- 2016 and President in 2019. Also served as secretary of glaucoma interest group of Sri Lanka in 2015-2016. Currently she is the chairperson of the Glaucoma interest group of Sri Lanka. She graduated from APAO/LDP in 2016. She is a council member of SAARC and member of APAO Women in Ophthalmology working committee. 
She has 23 publications in the journal of COSL and was awarded best paper in 2017 and 2018. Presented posters at European Glaucoma congress -2018, World glaucoma congress -2017/2019 and 2023 and APAO- 2019. She was an invited speaker at the world ophthalmology E-congress 2020 and 2022, world glaucoma virtual congress 2021 and 2023, Asia Pacific glaucoma society symposium 2021 and many local /regional meetings.
